A Weatherford Ranch Elopement

Love- not even a significantly taxing pandemic could stop it.

Many had to postpone their weddings this year, which undoubtedly created major chaos for everyone involved in the wedding business. Cutting back on the guest list, changing dates more than once, and even some immediate family unable to come due to travel restrictions.

For Lauren and Andy, a wedding in 2020 brought many obstacles, but with enough patience and a whole lot of love, they joyously tied the knot. My ultimate goal as a photographer was to capture memories they could hold onto forever despite this pandemic. The two hosted their intimate wedding at Lauren's ranch located in beautiful Weatherford, Texas.

Mason jars boasted with light hung among the trees; horses were also amid the guest list watching their caretakers say, "I do."

Lauren's friends were a huge help! They helped set up the wedding venue and assisted me in capturing Lauren's horses. Keeping a horse's attention in the right direction can be challenging (if you know, you know)

The horses really brought the shoot to life. Lauren's animals are so dear to her as she has such a unique relationship with each of them. The last mare we photographed was Butterfly, and it was paramount she was apart of their big day. Friends even hauled her over from the trainer's to help celebrate such a monumental day.

Above all, I felt I was right where I was supposed to be at the time, entirely in my element. Thank you, Lauren and Andy, for trusting me with your special day. It was a magical day filled with unforgettable memories! Congratulations to the newlyweds,  Mr & Mrs. Buitron!
