Photoshoot at La Purisima Mission with Brass Eyed Buffalo

Two creative minds are better than one!

This shoot with Brass Eyed Buffalo was everything I needed during the busiest time of the year. La Purisima Mission provides a very different backdrop than many of my other projects. With its colorful archways and stunning doorways this place has its own character unlike any other mission in the greater Santa Barbara area. Unlike other missions, the La Purisima Mission is open to the public and requires no fee for entry. Although, beware the gates close to the parking lot at sundown therefore it may be in your best interest to park outside on the road across the street. You will most likely see other photographers capturing its beauty around sunset when the light pours in from behind the mission into an open field. Beside the obvious beauty of the mission itself many don’t realize that there are many extensive trails that are also stunning. Along with the trails are fountains and other out buildings. The variety of the mission is great for different and interesting backgrounds.
